Jazz Congress

Jazz Congress is an annual conference for the jazz community. Over the course of two days, leaders, educators, and artists lead a series of workshops, panels and networking opportunities for more than a thousand attendees.

For the third inaugural Jazz Congress, I was asked to update the previous identity, which had involved a series of parallelograms and lines. I decided to expand on these shapes and create a larger system of geometric forms in vibrant colors which could be configured into various patterns. These abstract shapes brought a sense of modernity, energy, and playfulness to the conference that reflects the spirit of the music and the unique members of the jazz community.
